October 20, 2023: Newtown Square, PA 19073 In Friday's league match, the visiting Garnet Valley Jaguars football squad scored a close 26-21 victory over the Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers.
In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Upper Darby Royals (Drexel Hill, PA) in a Central match, on Friday, October 27. Garnet Valley will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Royals enter the match with a 1-8 record after their 51-12 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, PA).
The Fightin' Tigers (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Penncrest (Media, PA). The Lions enter the Central match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Penncrest held off Conestoga (Berwyn, PA), 7-6, in a league match.
