Pennsylvania High School Football - Gateway topples Norwin

October 20, 2023: North Huntingdon, PA 15642

The Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA) football defeated the host Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA), 48-20 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Gators face the Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 27. Gateway will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 8-1 record after their 42-7 league win over Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA).

The Knights (2-7) will now prepare for their bout against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Spartans enter the WPIAL AAAAA Big East bout with a 1-8 record. In their last bout, Hempfield Area lost by Plum (Pittsburgh, PA), 38-20, in a league bout.
