Alabama High School Football - Gordo defeats Oakman
October 20, 2023: Gordo, AL 35466 In Friday's league match, the host Gordo Green Wave football squad scored a good 35-10 victory over the Oakman Wildcats.
In their next game, the Green Wave clash with the Hale County Wildcats (Moundville, AL) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 3. Gordo will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record.
The Wildcats (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Pirates enter the 3A Region 5 match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Winfield ran past Fayette County (Fayette, AL), 28-24, in a league match.
