The Granite Hills Eagles held off the visiting Helix Highlanders football team by a final score of 44-43 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Granite Hills improves its record to 9-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to confront the Foothillers in a Grossmont - Hills outing on Thursday, October 26. The Foothillers go into the outing with a record of 5-4. Grossmont won 46-21 in their recent league outing against Santana (Santee, CA)

With the loss, Helix moves to 8-1 on the season. The Highlanders host Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to confront the Cougars in a Grossmont - Hills outing on Friday, October 27. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 5-4. Steele Canyon won 49-7 in their recent league outing against West Hills (Santee, CA)
