October 20, 2023: Hanover Township, PA 18706 The Hanover Area Hawkeyes football team (Hanover Township, PA), was beaten 35-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Lake-Lehman Knights (Lehman, PA)
The Knights (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Dallas (Dallas, PA). The Mountaineers come into the non-league challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Dallas achieved victory over Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 14-7, in a league challenge.
The Hawkeyes now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Greater Nanticoke Area for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 27. Hanover Area will meet a Trojans team coming off a 28-14 non-league loss to Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-4.
