In Friday's league match, the host Notre Dame Irish football squad scored a close 35-34 victory over the Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Pinelands Regional was nudged by Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ), 20-17, in a league match.
