The Lafayette Christian Cougars football squad scored 22 points and restricted the host Praise Academy Lions to 16 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sherwood Christian Academy for a GAPPS AA (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 27. Lafayette Christian will play a Eagles squad coming off a 48-22 league win over Central Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-0.
Coming up next, the Lions play the Holy Ground Baptist Academy Stallions (Roopville, GA) in a GAPPS A (8 Man) battle, on Friday, October 27. Praise Academy will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Stallions enter the battle with a 6-1 record after their 42-6 league win over Victory Baptist (Loganville, GA).
