The Lakeshore Lancers football team (Stevensville, MI), was ripped 42-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI)

The Mustangs (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Byron Center (Byron Center, MI). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Byron Center trounced Northview (Grand Rapids, MI), 49-0, in a league challenge.

The Lancers now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harper Creek for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 27. Lakeshore will meet a Beavers team coming off a 21-14 non-league loss to Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI). The Beavers record now stands at 7-3.
