California High School Football - Leigh defeats Overfelt

October 20, 2023: San Jose, CA 95124

In Friday's league match, the host Leigh Longhorns football squad scored a good 23-14 victory over the Overfelt Royals.

In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the Ann Sobrato Bulldogs (Morgan Hill, CA) in a Santa Teresa - Valley match, on Saturday, October 28. Leigh will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 14-11 league win over Willow Glen (San Jose, CA).

The Royals (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA). The Cardinals enter the Santa Teresa - Valley match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Mt. Pleasant dropped by Westmont (Campbell, CA), 34-13, in a league match.
