The Wilson Mustangs football team (Wilson, TX), was beaten 38-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX)

The Longhorns (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southland (Southland, TX). The Eagles come into the 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 4 (6 Man) challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Southland achieved victory over Wilson (Wilson, TX), 52-7, in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 27. Wilson will meet a Eagles team coming off a 45-20 non-league loss to Lubbock Titans (Lubbock, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
