In Friday's league game, the Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) football team tipped the host Newport - Bellevue Knights (Bellevue, WA), by a final score of 27-21.

The Islanders (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Juanita (Kirkland, WA). The Ravens come into the 3A KingCo game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Juanita got by Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA), 31-0, in a league game.
