October 20, 2023: Maurice, LA 70555 In Friday's league match, the visiting Northside Vikings football squad scored a good 42-15 victory over the North Vermilion Patriots.
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) in a 4A District 4 match, on Thursday, October 26. Northside will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Rebels enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 35-34 league loss to St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA).
The Patriots (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA). The Knights enter the 4A District 4 match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Lafayette Christian Academy notched a victory over Westgate (New Iberia, LA), 42-11, in a league test.
