The Portola Tigers football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Weed Cougars to 30 in the Tigers league win on Friday.

The Tigers now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Quincy for a Cascade Valley battle on Friday, November 3.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Modoc Braves (Alturas, CA) in a Cascade Valley battle, on Friday, October 27. Weed will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Braves go into the battle with a 4-4 record after their 36-0 league win over Etna (Etna, CA).
