October 20, 2023: St. Ansgar, IA 50472 St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals (Sibley, IA), 23-6 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Ansgar improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Saints host Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA) to battle the Bulldogs in a A District 2 test on Friday, October 27. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 7-2. Lake Mills won 21-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA)
The Generals now sport a 2-7 record.
