In Friday's league game, the Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS) football team were victorious over the visiting Wayne County War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS), by a score of 31-23.

The Tomcats (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Gautier (Gautier, MS). The Gators come into the 5A Region 4 game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Gautier knocked off East Central (Moss Point, MS), 34-7, in a league game.
