The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH) and the visiting Wellston Golden Rockets (Wellston, OH), observed Vinton County's football squad bounce Wellston by a tally of 49-0.

The Vikings now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gallia Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, October 27. Vinton County will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 28-0 league win over South Point (South Point, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-2.
