October 20, 2023: Montpelier, VT 05602 The crowd at Friday's league test between the Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT) and the visiting Hazen Wildcats (Hardwick, VT), saw Montpelier's soccer squad triumph over Hazen by a margin of 5-0.
The Solons now sport a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Missisquoi Valley for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 25. Montpelier will meet a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Middlebury (Middlebury, VT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-13.
With the loss, Hazen drops to 6-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Green Mountain (Chester, VT) to meet the Chieftains in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 25.
