Cotopaxi Pirates (Cotopaxi, CO) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Sierra Grande Panthers (Blanca, CO), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Deer Trail Eagles (Deer Trail, CO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 21. Cotopaxi will attempt to advance on its 12-8 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 3-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Genoa-Hugo/Karval (Hugo, CO).

With the loss, Sierra Grande drops to 4-14 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Las Animas (Las Animas, CO) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, October 21.
