In Monday's non-league match, the host Valley Christian Trojans flag football squad scored a decisive 49-0 triumph over the Apache Junction Prospectors.

The Trojans (5-1) will now prepare for their match against River Valley (Mohave Valley, AZ). The Dust Devils come into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, River Valley was routed by Arizona Lutheran Academy (Phoenix, AZ), 31-3, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Prospectors meet the Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans (Gilbert, AZ) in a 3A Metro East match, on Tuesday, October 21.
