October 20, 2025: Athens, GA 30605 The Clarke Central Gladiators edged the visiting Newton Rams flag football squad by a margin of 14-7 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Gladiators now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grayson for a non-league outing on Monday, October 27. Clarke Central will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 26-0 non-league win over Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA). The Rams record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Newton drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Rams host Eastside (Covington, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a D4 Area 8 outing on Tuesday, October 21. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 1-1. Eastside lost 13-0 in their recent non-league outing against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA)
