With the win, Carlsbad advances its record to 12-2 on the season. The Lancers host Del Norte (San Diego, CA) to encounter the Nighthawks in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 23. The Nighthawks go into the battle with a record of 3-6. Del Norte lost 32-6 in their recent non-league battle against Poway (Poway, CA)
