Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL) and the visiting Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats (Anna, IL), observed Massac County's volleyball team top Anna-Jonesboro by a count of 2-0.

The Patriots (25-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Frankfort (West Frankfort, IL). The Redbirds enter the non-league challenge with a 10-22 record. In their last challenge, Frankfort beat Carbondale (Carbondale, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Harrisburg Bulldogs (Harrisburg, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 22. Anna-Jonesboro will attempt to improve on its 5-25 season record.
