Westview Knights (Avondale, AZ) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ). The Wolves come into the 4A - West Valley challenge with a 18-5 record. In their last challenge, Estrella Foothills beat Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ), 3-1, in a league game.

The Aztecs (7-10) will now prepare for their game against La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Fighting Lobos come into the 5A - Central Valley outing with a 12-8 record. In their last outing, La Joya Community beat Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
