In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Kindred Vikings.

The H-CV Burros (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Hatton/Northwood (Northwood, ND). The Thunder go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record.

The Vikings now own a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lisbon for a B - Region 1 test on Tuesday, October 21. Kindred will face a Broncos squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Shiloh Christian (Bismarck, ND). The Broncos record now stands at 2-13.
