The Miami Vandals volleyball squad (Miami, AZ), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's league battle with the host San Tan Charter Roadrunners (Gilbert, AZ)

With the win, San Tan Charter improves its record to 17-1 on the season. The Roadrunners travel to Gilbert Classical Academy (Gilbert, AZ) to encounter the Spartans in a 2A - East battle on Wednesday, October 22. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 15-5. Gilbert Classical Academy won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Lincoln Prep (Chandler, AZ)

The Vandals now have a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pima for a 2A - East challenge on Tuesday, October 21. Miami will meet a Roughriders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gilbert Classical Academy (Gilbert, AZ). The Roughriders record now stands at 7-11.
