The Amphitheater Panthers football team (Tucson, AZ), was knocked off 28-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ)

The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ). The Mustangs come into the 4A Gila challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Sahuarita was knocked off by Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ), 53-7, in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Walden Grove for a 4A Gila challenge on Friday, October 28. Amphitheater will meet a Red Wolves team coming off a 39-7 league win over Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ). The Red Wolves record now stands at 5-2.
