The Ledford Panthers walloped the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets football team by a count of 56-7 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Ledford upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to North Davidson (Lexington, NC) to encounter the Black Knights in a 3A West Conference 47 outing on Friday, October 28. The Black Knights go into the outing with a record of 3-6. North Davidson lost 21-7 in their recent league outing against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)

With the loss, Asheboro moves to 1-8 on the season. The Blue comets host Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to encounter the Timberwolves in a 3A West Conference 47 outing on Friday, October 28.
