Briarwood Academy Buccaneers (Warrenton, GA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Augusta Prep Day Cavaliers (Augusta, GA), 21-14 in a league test.

With the triumph, Briarwood Academy improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA) to battle the Spartans in a GIAA AA Region 4 battle on Friday, November 4. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 4-4.

Coming up next, the Cavaliers play the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) in a GIAA AA Region 4 battle, on Friday, October 28.
