October 21, 2022: Bigelow, AR 72016 In Friday's league game, the Bigelow Panthers (Bigelow, AR) football team knocked off the visiting Westside Rebels (Coal Hill, AR), by a score of 44-14.
The Panthers (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Eagles come into the 2A Region 1 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Conway Christian toppled Mountainburg (Mountainburg, AR), 40-0, in a league game.
The Rebels now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Decatur for a 2A Region 1 game on Friday, October 28. Westside will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-0 league loss to Hector (Hector, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-8.
