The Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) football defeated the host Granville Central Panthers (Stem, NC), 23-6 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Jaguars face the Southern Durham Spartans (Durham, NC) in a 2A/3A East Conference 18 bout, on Friday, October 28. Carrboro will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 5-4 record after their 20-13 league win over Vance County (Henderson, NC).
