North Carolina High School Football - Concord held off by West Rowan
October 21, 2022: Mt. Ulla, NC 28125 West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), 14-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, West Rowan improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host East Rowan (Salisbury, NC) to battle the Mustangs in a 3A West Conference 48 test on Friday, October 28. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 1-8. East Rowan won 37-20 in their recent league test against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)
With the loss, Concord drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Spiders host A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to battle the Wonders in a non-league test on Friday, October 28. The Wonders come into the test with a record of 5-4. A.L. Brown lost 27-26 in their recent league test against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)
