The Northeastern Eagles thwarted the visiting Currituck County Knights football team by a count of 39-21 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Northeastern upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Eagles host Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to encounter the Panthers in a 2A/3A East Conference 15 outing on Friday, October 28. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 3-6. Pasquotank County won 26-19 in their recent league outing against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC)

With the loss, Currituck County moves to 5-4 on the season. The Knights host First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC) to encounter the Nighthawks in a 2A/3A East Conference 15 outing on Friday, October 28. The Nighthawks go into the outing with a record of 0-9. First Flight lost 59-0 in their recent league outing against Camden County (Camden, NC)
