October 21, 2022: East Bend, NC 27018 North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), 56-21 in a league test.
With the triumph, North Wilkes improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to battle the Greyhounds in a 2A West Conference 37 test on Friday, October 28. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 2-7. North Surry won 37-14 in their recent league test against Surry Central (Dobson, NC)
With the loss, Forbush drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC) to battle the Eagles in a 2A West Conference 37 test on Friday, October 28. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-3. Wilkes Central won 26-7 in their recent league test against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC)
