Maine High School Football - Foxcroft Academy prevails Freeport
October 21, 2022: Freeport, ME 04032 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) and the host Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME), observed Foxcroft Academy's football squad defeat Freeport by a count of 24-10.
The Ponies now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Oak Hill for a D bout on Friday, October 28. Foxcroft Academy will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 57-26 league loss to Winthrop/Monmouth Academy/Hall-Dale (Winthrop, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 2-5.
The Falcons (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME). The Crusaders enter the D bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, John Bapst Memorial was toppled by Nokomis (Newport, ME), 32-20, in a non-league bout.
