October 21, 2022: Geneseo, IL 61254 In Friday's league match, the visiting Moline Maroons football squad scored a good 42-13 victory over the Geneseo Maple Leafs.
In their next game, the Maroons clash with the DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 28. Moline will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Barbs enter the match with a 6-3 record after their 28-3 league win over Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL).
The Maple Leafs (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Carterville (Carterville, IL). The Lions enter the non-league match with a 9-0 record. In their last match, Carterville thwarted Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL), 49-7, in a non-league match.
