The Great Bridge Wildcats football team (Chesapeake, VA), was ripped 40-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA)

The Braves (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets come into the Southeastern challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Deep Creek was ripped by Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA), 45-20, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hickory for a Southeastern challenge on Friday, October 28. Great Bridge will meet a Hawks team coming off a 53-20 league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-7.
