October 21, 2022: Springfield, VA 22150 Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team rout the host Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA), 49-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, Hayfield improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Hawks travel to Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA) to confront the Majors in a District 3 test on Friday, October 28. The Majors go into the test with a record of 3-5. Mount Vernon lost 35-0 in their recent non-league test against Edison (Alexandria, VA)
With the loss, Lewis moves to 1-7 on the season. The Lancers host Falls Church (Falls Church, VA) to confront the Jaguars in a District 5 test on Friday, October 28. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 2-6. Falls Church lost 28-27 in their recent non-league test against Annandale (Annandale, VA)
