October 21, 2022: Montrose, PA 18801 In Friday's non-league game, the Lansing Bobcats (Lansing, NY) football team knocked off the host Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA), by a final score of 19-0.
The Bobcats (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Whitney Point (Whitney Point, NY). The Eagles come into the Section 4 Freelance game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Whitney Point was dropped by Dryden (Dryden, NY), 30-12, in a league game.
The Meteors now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Redeemer for a non-league game on Saturday, October 29. Montrose will battle a Royals team coming off a 51-14 non-league loss to Pittston (Pittston, PA). The Royals record now stands at 3-6.
