In Friday's league match, the host Las Lomas Knights football squad scored a good 38-21 victory over the Miramonte Matadors.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Campolindo Cougars (Moraga, CA) in a Diablo - Foothill match, on Friday, October 28. Las Lomas will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 8-0 record after their 50-7 league win over Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA).

The Matadors (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Dons enter the Diablo - Foothill match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Acalanes thwarted Benicia (Benicia, CA), 48-7, in a league match.
