The Montcalm Generals football squad scored 12 points and restricted the visiting Meadow Bridge Wildcats to 6 in the Generals league victory on Friday.

The Generals now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hurley for a non-league battle on Friday, October 28. Montcalm will face a Rebels squad coming off a 42-18 league loss to Grundy (Grundy, VA). The Rebels record now stands at 4-4.

Coming up next, the Wildcats face the Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) in a Coalfield A battle, on Friday, October 28. Meadow Bridge will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Tide enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 50-0 league loss to Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV).
