The New Boston Lions football squad scored 56 points and restricted the host Prairiland Patriots to 20 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chisum for a 3A-2 Region III District 10 battle on Friday, October 28. New Boston will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 30-0 league loss to De Kalb (De Kalb, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-7.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX) in a 3A-2 Region III District 10 battle, on Friday, October 28. Prairiland will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Brahmas enter the battle with a 0-8 record after their 50-48 league loss to New Boston (New Boston, TX).
