October 21, 2022: Clarksburg, WV 26301 Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), 19-16 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Robert C. Byrd improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Liberty (Clarksburg, WV) to battle the Mountaineers in a Big Ten test on Friday, October 28. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 4-4.
With the loss, Point Pleasant drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Big blacks travel to Ripley (Ripley, WV) to battle the Vikings in a Coalfield AA test on Friday, October 28. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 3-6. Ripley won 28-26 in their recent league test against Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV)
