Texas High School Volleyball - Leggett routed by High Island
October 21, 2022: High Island, TX 77623 The Leggett Pirates volleyball team (Leggett, TX), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host High Island Cardinals (High Island, TX)
The Cardinals (8-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Burkeville (Burkeville, TX). The Mustangs enter the 1A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Burkeville defeated Spurger (Spurger, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Pirates encounter the Chester Yellowjackets (Chester, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Tuesday, October 25. Leggett will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 30-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Goodrich (Goodrich, TX).
