Washington High School Football - Chiawana tips Mount Si

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Chiawana Riverhawks (Pasco, WA) and the visiting Mount Si Wildcats (Snoqualmie, WA), observed Chiawana's football squad edge Mount Si by a count of 14-12.

The Riverhawks now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Walla Walla for a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest on Friday, October 27. Chiawana will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 33-14 league loss to Hanford (Richland, WA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-8.

Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Bothell Cougars (Bothell, WA) in a 4A KingCo contest, on Friday, October 27. Mount Si will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 14-7 league loss to Eastlake (Sammamish, WA).
