New York High School Football - Elmont Memorial routed by Garden City
October 21, 2023: Garden City, NY 11530 The Elmont Memorial Spartans football team (Elmont, NY), was ripped 41-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Garden City Trojans (Garden City, NY)
The Trojans (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mepham (North Bellmore, NY). The Pirates come into the Section 8 Conference II challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Mepham was ripped by MacArthur (Levittown, NY), 24-19, in a league challenge.
The Spartans now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Long Beach for a Section 8 Conference II challenge on Saturday, October 28. Elmont Memorial will meet a Marines team coming off a 34-6 league win over Roslyn/Friends Academy (Roslyn Heights, NY). The Marines record now stands at 4-3.
