In Saturday's league match, the host Potomac Wolverines football squad scored a good 30-8 victory over the Fairmont Heights Hornets.

In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD) in a Prince George's County 2A/1A match, on Saturday, October 28. Potomac will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 34-0 league loss to Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD).

The Hornets (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Crossland (Temple Hills, MD). The Cavaliers enter the Prince George's County 2A/1A match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Crossland dropped by KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC), 20-14, in a non-league test.
