Rhode Island High School Football - St. George's drops to Groton School
October 21, 2023: Middletown, RI 02842 In Saturday's league game, the Groton School (Groton, MA) football team knocked off the host St. George's Dragons (Middletown, RI), by a score of 29-7.
The (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Roxbury Latin (West Roxbury, MA). The Foxes come into the Independent School ISL-9 game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Roxbury Latin was dropped by Milton Academy (Milton, MA), 24-7, in a non-league game.
The Dragons now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brooks for a Independent School ISL-9 game on Saturday, October 28. St. George's will battle a team coming off a 42-19 league loss to Rivers (Weston, MA). The record now stands at 2-3.
