Virginia High School Football - Glenvar thwarted by Northside
October 21, 2024: Roanoke, VA 24019 Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA), 17-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Northside improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Staunton River (Moneta, VA) to play the Golden Eagles in a battle on Thursday, October 24. The Golden Eagles go into the battle with a record of 3-3. Staunton River won 30-22 in their recent non-league battle against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)
The Highlanders now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they host James River for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 24. Glenvar will play a Knights team coming off a 40-38 non-league loss to Radford (Radford, VA). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.
