Ramapo Gryphons (Spring Valley, NY) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Yonkers Force [Gorton/Roosevelt/Yonkers Montessori Academy/Yonkers] Force (Yonkers, NY), 23-16 in a league battle.

With the win, Ramapo improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Gryphons travel to Ossining (Ossining, NY) to play the Pride in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 26. The Pride go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Ossining lost 56-14 in their recent league battle against Ketcham (Wappingers Falls, NY)

The Force now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to White Plains for a battle on Saturday, October 26. Yonkers Force [Gorton/Roosevelt/Yonkers Montessori Academy/Yonkers] will play a Tigers team coming off a 20-10 non-league loss to Ramapo (Spring Valley, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
