October 21, 2024: Washington, DC 20017 The MacArthur Mammoths volleyball squad (Washington, DC), dropped 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC)
With the win, Archbishop Carroll improves its record to 2-14 on the season. The Lions travel to St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD) to encounter the Knights in a Washington Catholic battle on Wednesday, October 23. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 7-9. St. Mary's Ryken won 3-2 in their recent league battle against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD)
The Mammoths now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering for a DCIAA battle on Tuesday, October 22. MacArthur will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC). The Panthers record now stands at 0-7.
